Being Tantric

Whilst being involved in  12 years of study and practice of Advaita Vedanta and the Yoga Sutras , Emma meandered somewhere – admittedly unknowingly at first – towards a path of Tantra.  Evidently the two are not mutually exclusive infact Tantra practically and essentially includes Advaita Vedanta.   Many Schoolars have tried to explain the difference.  Emma is personally interested in combining the two schools of thought into her work.  It is infact almost impossible not to.

“Advaita has, for me, consolidated my experience of connection to the Divine through a  Masculine essence.  That being a practice that is more focused through the MIND.  Usually in the form of Sitting Mindfulness (or probably more appropriately named Mindemptiness!) Meditations that dissolve the “observed” into the ONE.  Inviting an Opening of Universal Oneness or GOD or even Heaven – whatever words we use, pouring awareness down through the  1st (Sahasrara) 2nd (Vishuddi) and Bindu Chakra all the way down to the Heart (Anahata)…….

In perfect Harmony Tantra has, for me, consolidated my connection to Divine Mother, Mother Earth, Earth, Body through the more Feminine Practice of Body focused (Embodiment) Meditations and Practices,  Opening through Earth Mother to Root (Mooladhara), Sacral (Svadisthana), and Navel Chakra (Manipura) once again meeting the Unstruck Note of the Heart Chakra (Anahatta).

WHAT AN INCREDIBLE UNION WITHIN!!

This unfolding towards the Heart has undoubtedly  secured my knowing that we ARE NOT SEPARATE! My Birth wish was to live within the heart, without seeking love outside but with the Divine within. This is a truth that lives deeply within me. and you and me and you …..

MY ONE BELIEF?

YOU EXIST!
